Decades of Field Experience Will Help Clients Better Manage Their Cybersecurity Regulatory and Compliance Challenges

Sarasota, FL (October 25, 2021)Exchange Analytics (XA), a leader in futures/derivatives and securities compliance training and certification, today announced the launch of its new Cyber Advisory Group.  As XA and its customers continue to confront the many present and evolving cyber risks, the Cyber Advisory Group will provide guidance and thought leadership on two important fronts:

  • the practices, procedures and controls that XA uses to identify, manage and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity, privacy, disaster recovery and incident response; and

  • the content of XA’s cybersecurity, identity theft prevention, privacy and other training courses, as well as its other regulatory compliance solutions.

XA’s Cyber Advisory Group will consist of leading cybersecurity practitioners with decades of government and private industry experience, including Robert Bigman, a former Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, and Mark Morrison, a former Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency. Additional members of the Cyber Advisory Group will be forthcoming.

Bigman is an independent consultant and works with the U.S. and foreign governments, and several top 50 Fortune corporations, helping them build productive cyber security programs and resist attacks from sophisticated hackers. He also provides cyber security program and technical training to global government and private organizations. His training activities include cyber awareness programs for boards of directors, cyber threats and vulnerabilities and secure design requirements briefings for information technology architects and engineers, along with cyber security policy training for information technology security professionals and general cyber security training for all employee levels within an organization.

Morrison is Chief Security Officer for OCC (Options Clearing Corporation), the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization, where he is responsible for information security and business continuity. He has a long and distinguished career in public service in the areas of cyber security and information security, including senior level positions at the U.S. Department of Defense, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Director of National Intelligence. Prior to joining OCC, Morrison was the Chief Security Officer for State Street Corporation, where he provided strategic direction and oversight of the company’s information security program, concentrating on cyber security defense, identity and access management, cyber threat intelligence, cloud and virtualization security technologies, and risk-based information security architecture.

“Most of our clients are highly regulated entities with strict requirements for managing third-party and cyber-related risks,” said Joe Adamczyk, XA’s President.  “The formation of this deeply experienced Cyber Advisory Group with Robert and Mark will allow Exchange Analytics to benefit from their decades of field experience as we work to manage our operations and continue to provide our leading regulatory compliance training and support solutions to our clients.”

Megan Conley, XA’s Head of Course Development and Operations added, “Many cyber-related regulations require regular and mandatory training that is risk-based.  Working with the Cyber Advisory Group to discuss XA’s current and planned course content helps ensure that our cyber-related courses take into account relevant trends, threats and techniques.”
